Ontario's premier event on the August long weekend in Bobcaygeon! With over 300 participants and 150-160 vehicles hitting the trails, you can imagine the hub-bub of activity. Looking forward to Trailfest is a tradition, same place, same great people every year!
Held on private property in the beautiful Bobcaygeon area this very popular event challenges skills, provides great camaraderie, and raised funds for the Soldier On Fund. In addition, this year a portion of the proceeds will go to the Kawartha Lakes Food Source, Habitat for Humanity and the Women's Community House. This annual event, hosted by the London and Area Jeep Owners Club, runs at maximum capacity every year.
This event is growing in popularity because of many factors, including the excellent 101 course for those just starting out, the nice variety of trails that appeal to everyone from beginners to those who have been around awhile, and the joy of being with others who enjoy the sport.

Since 2011, Canadian Shield 4X4 Outfitters has been a proud sponsor of this very popular event, focussing on the Saturday evening Charity BBQ to support our troops by donating lucrative draw prizes: ARB fridge/freezer in 2011, an ARB Portable Twin Air Compressor in 2012, two ARB X-Jacks in 2013, and an X-Jack plus Premium Recovery Kit, along with smaller, cool off-road items from ARB. Together we have raised, to date, over $12,000 for the Solider On Fund.
The ‘Soldier On’ program was founded in 2007 as a joint initiative of the Canadian Paralympic Committee and the Department of National Defence that aims to use sport to improve the quality of life of current and former Canadian Forces personnel who have suffered major injuries. This fund is best known through the "Support Our Troops" Yellow Ribbon campaign.
